If you read the Time travelers wife(spoilers if you haven't seen the movie)
can you answer a ? for me. Dh bought me the movie for V day and we watched it. Is it Henry of the father that shoots him? The movie was so dark at that point we couldn't tell. Also does the book explain why he time travels? Does he ever take the epilepsy mediciine?

The book is fantastic and I would recommend reading it. It is hard to put down in my opinion. They did a fair job with the movie but the book, as always, explains more. The attribute his time travel to a genetic disorder but we really don't get beyond that.
It is Claire's father or brother that shoots him.
