I think I was too focused on the whole in my wall. ETA: And by whole, I meal hole. ETAA: OMG and by meal I mean mean. I give up.
I almost forgot that my neighbor brought his new gun over to show everyone. His new LOADED gun. WTF?!
He took the clip (?) and bullets out before he let someone else hold it, but not okay. I was literally speechless for the first minute, then I let him know how uncool it was (in probably the not so nicest terms) to bring a gun into my house without permission, let alone a loaded one. Oh, and around people who had been drinking no less.
1) I've always disliked guns. I know some people think you shouldn't be afraid of them, but I am. I've never been around them. (Well, aside from when we stayed at the H's grandparent's house in VA and I had to sleep in a room with probably 20 guns - but they were old.). 2) Now after knowing someone who was murdered with a gun, I cannot even tell you how much they freak me out. It totally solidified my fear. There just are no words. HATE.
I'm still pissed off at him.

Re: Oh, wait? Did I ever tell you this Superbowl story?
Loaded?! Completely a moronic move, so rude, inconsiderate, etc. I'm starting to get over my gun fear, but I don't think I'd like someone just walking in with one still.
DH wants us to get guns (we are in Texas, after all, I know of 3 shooting ranges within 15 miles of my house), but when I think of us getting them, I picture them being put in the garage after use, not IN the house.
That guy would totally not be cool with me after that, and I'd be thinking I have to make sure every time I see him that he's not carrying a loaded weapon.
Oh hell no! I would have freaked out too.
Long story short... a friend of mine went over another friend's house picked up his "of course it's unloaded" gun, playing around he pointed it to his head and pulled the trigger. He's dead now.
I hate guns. HATE.
WTH was your neighbor thinking bringing a loaded gun over to your house.
