So I realized that if if I switch my phone and TV to a local cable company, I could get a package that would save me about $20/month and give me all movie channels and HD channels that we aren't getting now. But then I noticed that they don't carry Bravo. WTH? And now I'm trying to figure out what other basic cable channels aren't there. The ones that I can think that I watch on a regular basis are all there except Bravo. I'll have to ask DH to go through the list and see if any of his are missing, too. But doesn't that seem odd that they wouldn't carry Bravo?

I just a friendly gal looking for options.

Re: This is tough
Don't ask me. The only non-local channels I have are TruTV, Style, and Discovery Health.
Please excuse me while I bake myself a cake for this pity party...
that's how you save that $20 i guess.
i hate those realizations. when i went direct TV to cabe, i enjoyed a lot less service interruption, but cable had so many fewer lifetime networks.
now i have verizon, and i am paying less for a bajillion more channels. i don't really watch Bravo, but i *do* watch all of the Discovery and Lifetime/Women/Oxygen networks. verizon has a great lineup, and i would be put out if i had to ever go back to optimum (cable).
just start watchint TLC.

Too many gays for your neck of the woods.
