CTV & Olympics
Does anyone else find CTV's Olympic talk shows newscasts really lame? The hosts don't seem to click with each other at all, and they talk about nothing (I think yesterday I heard them talking about spotting George Clooney on the streets of Vancouver). I mean, even though you're the official Olympic network, you don't HAVE to fill your airtime with Olympic stuff if you got nothin'.

I'm glad that they have Brian Williams, because he is really good. But DH was laughing his ass off last night because Brian Williams made a reference along the lines of "you are watching the 2010 Vancouver Olympics on CBC...I mean, CTV"
I miss Ron McLean though.
I like Jay Onrait (Olympic Morning with Bev) he is actually pretty funny and James Duthie who is with Lisa LaFemme. I think those guys make the show.
I do also miss CBC but they said they were losing money so they could not afford to air the Olympics or any huge even anymore because of costs.
DH was giving me greif for not watching the olympics yesterday - and I had to explain that I couldn't stand all the waiting... I was going between all the different channels and couldn't find anything but people talking! I'd love to watch the olympics, but have no desire to listen to people stall and waste my time.
May be an overshare... but I almost worked for the Rogers CTV Consortion - had accepted the job and everything - then had to cancel on them because my current employer stepped up to the plate and offered me way more to stay.
