Good Morning Ladies
Good morning ladies and Happy Monday! Who all has off work today for either the holiday or the snow? I wish I did, don't think we'll ever close in my line of work; people gotta get their beer, lol. I love all of this snow, wish I could go play in it. But we'll be in California in 2 days!!!!
How was everyone's weekend and Valentines Day? We kinda laid low this weekend. Went out to a nice dinner at Montgomery Inn on Saturday and then Christian cooked us surf n turf last night. It was so yummy. Have a great day ladies!!!

Good morning ladies! I am off work for President's Day too - woot!! I'm just hanging around waiting for Jordan to get back from school and then we're going out for sushi for lunch and then I'm helping him study for his test on Wednesday.
Nothing big for Valentine's Day. Saturday night we went to dinner at Wildfire and stuffed our faces
Last night we made jalapeno turkey burgers (recipe from Natalie115.) Watched a couple movies. It was so nice to spend the whole weekend together since we rarely just get to be with just each other.
Mornin' Ladies!!! The State "floats" Presidents Day to the day after Turkey Day, so I'm here today. It's crappy and snowing so DH and I came to work very early. At least we can leave early.
We celebrated our VD on Saturday with a seafood extravaganza! It was awesome and I am mastering cooking lobster tail. Yesterday we had to get ready for company as we have a guest staying with us for a few days.
And now I am off to find the recipe for jalapeno turkey burgers...

Morning!!!! I don't have off work today... boooooo... and I actually have a crapload of stuff to do today and shouldn't be nesting... oh well!
VDay was fantastic - DH and I didn't do anything too special, but we write a list of 10 reasons why we love each other every year - and his list was awesome this year! :-)
PLUS OHMYGOSH.............. We are totally going back to MAUI on the 25th!!! Were flying out Thursday and coming back on the overnight flight Sun-Monday... so its a SUPER quick trip but I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK TO HAWAII!
(we are surprising my Mom so don't say anything on FB because she doesn't know we are coming)
You are coming to CA at the right time, we're having a bit of a heat wave right now. It's in the 70s all week I believe. Well, only in SoCal, though. Are you going to be in So Cal or Nor Cal?
I'm at work today but it's ridiculously boooooring because most of my job deals with the mail, and no mail today. So I am basically sitting here... bored almost to death... wishing I was home.
We didn't really do anything for V-Day because we were working at my IL's flower shop on Saturday & Sunday. They did pretty well considering it was a double whammy - V-Day on a Sunday & the bad economy. Next year should be much better since it's on a weekday. DH did get me a card and wrote something really sweet in it, which made me tear up a little.
We're celebrating tonight by going to dinner at Ruth's Chris. 99% of the time that place is WAY out of our budget, but they are having a deal this week - $40 for a petite filet & lobster tail. YUM. I guess DH has been saving up for a nice dinner since we never go out to eat. Plus today we are getting our DirecTV installed! Yay! We moved into our house in October & have had just local (antenna) channels up until now. I'm pretty happy because one of my favorite things to do on Saturday mornings was watch Food Network for a couple hours & then start the day. If anyone is interested in getting satellite right now, both DirecTV & Dish have super deals right now. I think DTV is $30/mo, & Dish is $20/mo for their lowest packages (for 1 year with 2 year contract).
Good afternoon! I have the day off for the holiday, but can't get out of the house! I'm really sick of the snow and we haven't had near as much as some places.
For v-day DH made dinner and we just stayed in. We worked on the house all weekend and didn't feel like doing anything.

so, I'm drooling just remembering the taste of Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce. It's my favorite of all time. I'll have to get my parents to send me some here.
