my thoughts on vday (movie) -- big spoiler.

1. Miley cyrus was making an incredibly ugly face in almost every scene of her preview
2. Did anyone else notice that in the new Russel Brand movie, he plays the same character he did in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Jonah Hill, who played a waiter who fawned over RB, plays his assistant?
3. There was a typo on the high school latte sign. I wonder if that was intentional
4. When Bradley Cooper showed up at Eric Dane's house, my entire theater went nuts. "OH NO!!!" "GROSSS!" "EWWWW!" I. was. APPALLED. One of the people was sitting right next to me and I wanted to punch her.
5. On that note, how easily could they have switched Bradley Cooper and Patrick Dempsey's characters?????? McDreamy and McSteamy as gay lovers?!
6. I ruled this movie. I kind of knew that the teacher was Addison (Edison?)'s Valentine and I TOTALLY called that Julia Roberts was going home to see Ed/Add.
Anyway, it was cute - definitely high on my list of chick flicks. I did think that thing with the bulgarians was weird though. And I want to be jessica biel when I grow up, thanks.

-- True story - my husband turned to me during this preview and said "Is it just me, or does that seem like it would be a really good movie if they'd cast anyone other than Miley Cyrus?
--If people had responded that way in my theatre, I'm pretty sure I would've hit someone. No one really reacted at all, except for me, who said "Awwwww, yay!" really loudly (not intentionally, I just thought it was cute and one of the only "surprise! didn't see THAT coming!" moments in the film). And I would've lived to see Patrick Dempsey play ANY of the other characters. He's always cast as the cheater/somewhat-douchey guy, and it kinda bums me out.

I read a while ago that they were doing another movie with those 2 characters from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I think they called it a sequel at the time, but it seems more like a spin off to me.
My DH turned to me during this and said "notice she's not talking in any of the scenes they're showing in the preview."
As for Jessica Biel, I kept thinking through the whole movie....has she always been that skinny? I always thought of her as being slim but curvy. DH told me afterwards he found her attractive in this movie, which he very rarely does (i.e., point out attractive women to me). Now I don't have to feel guilty for fawning over Justin Timberlake.

Ha, I am aware that Taylor Swift was in the movie. There was a preview -as I said - for a new Nicholas Sparks movie featuring Miley Cyrus.
