So, I got the H1N1 shot about a month ago, and it really burned when the nurse was giving it to me. I have no problem with injections, and usually barely feel them, so I mentioned it, and she said "oops, I probably hit your bone, since your arm is so skinny". Which it's not.
Anyway, since then, I have had pain in my upper arm whenever I put any weight on it, or try to lift it above a certain height. It's a dull-ish pain, and it feels almost like a tweaked muscle. I assumed that she had actually hit a nerve, and that it would get better over time, but it seems to be getting a little worse. I may end up calling my doc tomorrow, but I thought I would post and see if any of you have ever experienced this before, or if any of you medical types can give me any advice/perspective.
TIA!
Re: Post injection pain?
I think I'm going to have to. . . I feel like such a hypochondriac sometimes.
Ditto this.
