Poll of Randomness

The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats?

Food question #1: pizza or pasta?

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again?

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you?

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else?

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs?

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick?

Re: Poll of Randomness

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats? I love them both, I really do! But if I had to pick just one...it would probably be cats, just for the sheer entertainment value.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? LOL sometimes I forget that I have to answer these questions! I don't know which I'd pick! Probably pasta...but when I'm in the mood for pizza, nothing else will do!

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again? Yup and yup. Absolutely the right decision for us!

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you? LOL well you already know where I stand...there's something that just sucks me in, even in a terrible adaptation like this one! I always love the silly, overly dramatic mother characters (is it bad that they often vaguely remind me of my own mom?).

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? DAMMIT! I forgot to include sorbet in this list. I'm going to go back and edit it in so I can say: sorbet. Stick out tongue

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else? I love me some sapphires, but I think I'd go with diamonds. Clear goes with everything. Stick out tongue

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not? Not. Just - NOT.

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes? Sing. Especially if it's a shamefully cheesy song. I crank that sucker up and belt it out!

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs? If I'm cooking them at home, scrambled or fried (and well done - I cook 'em until they're boot leather and I don't care if it's disgusting). Out at a restaurant, I looooove poached with Hollandaise sauce, especially if there's also smoked salmon and some wilted spinach involved. *sigh* I can't wait until I can have Hollandaise again...

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick? Ivana Humpalot. HAHAHAHA! Just kidding. I'd love something feminine and unusual (Aurelia was on our girls name list and I loooove it), but I don't know if I could pull it off. I think I'm more of a Jane Doe. Wink
  • I YAY!  I love random polls!

The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats? DOGS ALL THE WAY!  I don't mind cats but I am definitely a dog person.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? This is a TOUGH one... but I'll have to go with pizza.

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again? Didn't live together before we were married, nor did we live in the same city before we were married.  If I had to do over again, I would definitely want to at least live in the same city.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you? I'm ashamed to say I know nothing about Sense and Sensibility (both the book and any other production of it).

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)  Ice cream!

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else? Diamonds .... I love sparkly diamonds...

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?  Honestly, I was actually thinking about this topic this past weekend (as I was looking through people's blogs about fashion).  I think it really depends on the outfit.... cause you can either look nice/fashionable or quickly look like a mess.

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?  I rock out!  I have done quite a few dance moves while at a stop light with people watching... a little embarassing but never stops my show.  I

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs? Over hard or over easy with some wheat toast to dip in the yolk.... or scrambled with cheese.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick? Wow... this is a hard one... I'm really not clever enough.  However, I think my last name would be something cool like "Shamrock" (i.e. Ken Shamrock from UFC or WWE) or "Ireland" (i.e. Kathy Ireland).

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats?   dogs

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? pizza

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again?  yes, yes

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you?  nada

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)  ice cream

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else?  Sapphires

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?  i certainly couldn't pull it off.  I guess some people can, but those people should know who they are!

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?  depends on the artist, but I've been known to conduct concerts as well!

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs? scrambled well

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick?   Olive

  • imageredshoegirl:

The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats? Oh, cats for SURE. They're far more devious.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? Pizza, even though I'm allergic to cheese. I just can't get excited about pasta.

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again? We did, but that's because we had to for DH to become a permanent resident. I sure wouldn't want to do the long distance, trans-Atlantic option.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you? Am I a fan of Austen? Yes. Do I love the BBC? Yes. I also don't love the Knightly version of P&P.

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)  Sorbet is the only thing that doesn't make me sick! But, I LOVE gelato.

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else? Diamonds... my e-ring is a sapphire. Except I don't have pierced ears...

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?  Only if you've gone back in time to 1989.

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?  Sing, sing, sing!

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs? My fave is poached.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick? Elizabeth Forest. I was supposed to be an Elizabeth, but my parents decided I didn't look like one when I was born.

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats? I love dogs, but I'd have to choose cats, simply because they are so much easier to take care of.  We have resigned ourselves to not getting a dog, since we feel it would be alone too much of the time, and that's not fair to the dog.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? Almost always pasta.  We so rarely have pizza at our house, since MH is lactose intolerant, so I don't think about it much.  I could eat pasta pretty much every night, though!

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again? Yes, and yes.  I was hesitant, since I had lived with someone before and it didn't work out, but we needed that time to truly get to know one another.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you? No thoughts on this, really.   Don't hate Jane Austen, but never was a huge fan, either.

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? Definitely sorbet!!!!  Lemon or mango, preferably.

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else? Probably aquamarine.  It's not only my birthstone, but I think they're gorgeous.  Or diamond, since they match everything!

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not? Not unless your shirt is really, really long, and you have great legs.  So, generally, not!

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes? Always sing!  I sing all day as part of my job, and I STILL sing in the car!

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs? Depends on my mood, but my favorite is what I've called "dippy eggs" since I was little......fried over easy so I can dip my toast in the yolks....disgusting, I know, but yummy!

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick? When I was little I wanted to change my name to Elizabeth, but I don't think that suits me anymore.  Probably Liesl or maybe Anna.  With a common German last name like Schmidt, to better protect me with anonymity!

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats?  Cats!  Dogs are great but I've always had a cat and can't imagine the world without them.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta?  At home, pizza.  At a restaurant, pasta.

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again?  Yes, and I would absolutely do it again.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you?  I also enjoy Jane Austen and can't stand Keira Knightley.

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)  Ice cream or gelato, I don't care... it's the world's most perfect food.

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else?  Probably rubies, my birthstone.

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?   SING!  I sometimes catch other drivers watching me.  They're just jealous.

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs?  Scrambled in a dollop of bacon grease, with just a touch of cream cheese.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick?  Yeah right, I'm not entering WPP.  I'll keep my name and join the waffle smugglers.  Waffles are DELICIOUS!

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats? I'm honestly not much of a pet person...can I say fish?! Hehe. If I had to choose, it would be dogs.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? If it's my mom's tortellini with her homemade cream sause, then I say pasta!

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again? Yep. I don't think we would have gotten married if we hadn't lived together first. It made us sooo much more closer.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you? That whole time era intrigues me. I love it all. Good and bad.

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? Milkshake. I have sensative teeth and the cold makes them hurt. Ice cream through a straw though...yummy.

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else? Anything but diamonds. A pearl or a colored stone.

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not? Only if your shirt/top is long enough to cover your arse.

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes? I turn up the music (to down myself out) and belt out those lyrics!

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs? Dippy eggs. That's the PA Dutch in me. Also known as over-easy. With toast.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick? MMM...waffles.
  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats?

Cats for sure...I do like both but cats, overall, are more manageable.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? Hmmm...that's tough...depends upon my mood.  I'll say pasta since that gives me tons of choices like butternut ravioli with sage and brown butter, lasagne, stuffed shells, alfredo...YUM!

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again?

    Yes and definitely.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you?

Definitely...I love Jane Austen, but I love most period films though.

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)

    Gelato, per favore!

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else?

    Diamonds all the way!

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?

Not sure if it's okay, but I do it...especially in the third tri w/a long tunic top.  Also for working out.

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?

    Always!

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs?

In an omlette...sometimes poached (yum..Eggs Benedict...I also love the smoked salmon/spinach version...DELISH!) or sunnyside up (with toast) and usually scrambled when I am home.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick?

    Sabrina Merriweather

  • Poll of Randomness!

The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats? I grew up with cats, but MH introduced me to dogs.  And, darn it, I never knew I could love a pet so much.  Heck, what am I saying?  Our dog is a full-fledged family member.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? Pasta - more options

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again? Yes (but we were already engaged) and yes, the situation worked out well for us.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you? I LOVE Jane Austen - have you seen the movie "The Jane Austen Book Book Club"?  So girly but I loved it.  My fave adaptation was the Sense and Sensibility with Kate Winslet.

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)  All please

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else? I would probably pick some color gemstone just to be different.

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?  Are these STILL in style?  **sigh**

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?  I totally sing along if I'm alone.  I used to when MH was also in the car, but he politely asked me to stop.

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs? Poached or over easy.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick? Jasmine.  That was orginally my name, but my grandmother told my mom to change it b/c Jasmine is a sad flower (umm, ok?).  It's even on my birth certificate, then crossed out, and my real name is written above (AND misspelled - imagine the trouble I had when getting an SSN card!).

And a random ZQ photo for Lisa:

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats? Dogs, hands down.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta?  This is tough.  I've always been a pasta girl and then had pizza in Italy, which was FANTASTIC.  I am officially a pizza snob.  If I have to choose, I lean towards pasta.

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again?  Yes, and definitely.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you?  I love period pieces in general.

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)  Another shout out to Italy - I now loooooove gelato.

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else?  Sapphires....to match my wedding bands.

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?  Only if you have a small ass.

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?  Depends on my mood.  I was a bit of a rock star driving to work this morning, but it varies.  There are a lot of times I don't listen to music at all in the car.

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs?  I'm currently on a hard boiled kick.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick? I love the name Kate, which was my mom's first choice to name me.  I am officially in love with the last name Bernini, thanks again to Italy.  Sounds ridiculous, but fun!

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats?  Dogs!  I'm obviously obsessed with my own little pugs, but in general I love how dogs act like every moment is the greatest moment of their lives.  ("OMG!  Breakfast time!  This is the best moment of my life!"  "OMG!  Walk time!  This is the best moment of my life!" "OMG!  Watch mommy get ready for work time!  This is the best moment of my life!"  Etc.  Etc.)  I find this attitude inspirational and contagious.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta?  Mmmm...piiiiizzzzzzaaaa...mmmm.

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again?  Yes and yes.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you?  Meh.  I'm a fan of her books, but I can't say I've ever seen a movie adaptation.  I think I'm afraid that Hugh Grant will jump onto the screen at any moment in any Jane Austen adaptation.  I CAN'T STAND Hugh Grant.

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)  Any of the above, as long as it's sugar free.  (Boring, I know, but I can't do sugar).

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else?  Probably diamonds because I could afford to buy myself any of the other stones.  Diamonds are crazy expensive!

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?  Only if the crotch area is covered by a very long shirt or dress or whatever.  Camel toe is not your friend!

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?  Sing sing sing!

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs?  With tabasco sauce.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick?  Cleopatra Nix, "Cleo" for short.  That was the name of one of my cars and I've always thought it sounded like a fun super hero-style name.

  • love this random poll :)

The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats?

love them both but i would pick cats

Food question #1: pizza or pasta?

oooh, tough choice.  depends on my mood really but i guess i would say that i eat pasta much more often than i do pizza.

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again?

no, but we did spend tons of time together at each others' places before we were married.  our parents would have flipped out if we moved in together.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you?

    gelato!

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else?

    diamonds are a girl's best friend :)

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?

    not

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?

sing along, but no conducting ;)

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs?

only scrambled and with salt, pepper, and ketchup. won't eat them any other way.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick?

no idea! i am so bad at choosing names. it took us forever to pick one for little A!

YES!  And...you can be gone 5 minutes, 5 hours, 5 days or 5 weeks and their reaction to you coming in the door is ALWAYS the same!  So cute!

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats?

DOGS!!  I grew up with both but there is no comparison to the way my little man reacts when I've been gone for even just 1 hour.  He has so much unconditional love that I wish more humans had.  And I would much rather walk him a few times a day than even get close to a litter box.  YUCK!!

Food question #1: pizza or pasta?

Pizza w/o a doubt.  New York style to be exact.

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again?

Yes, we lived together a year before we got engaged.  And I wouldn't have had it any other way.  We learned to manage our finances and work through those hurdles before we dove into marriage.  Extremely essential these days!

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you?

    Sorry, not a fan here!

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)

Frozen Yogurt.  And what I would do for some from Bogart Yogurt in Pacific Beach, San Diego.......oh lord.

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else?

Diamonds are THIS girls best friend!!  :)

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?

As much as I would like them to go away, I notice when I put mine on for the gym, they slim me up!

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?

Oh for sure I sing.....doesn't everyone??

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs?

Sorry guys, they create such issues for me.......no eggs for me.  They create horrible migraines for me.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick?

  • Fun poll :)

The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats? For me, right now, definitely a cat - wish I had more time for a dog but sadly, I'm not home enough.

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? Pizza!! Especially with a crispy crust.

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again? I wish we could live together. Still haven't lived together full time :( We commute between 2 cities to see each other every week.

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)  Gelato but ice cream gets a close second

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?  As long as you never the house with them as outer wear.

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?  I'm a singer, I don't care who can see me while I'm driving. I think being caught singing when they can't hear me behind the window is sooo much better than the nose-pickers I always see on the highway.

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs? Over easy

WAIT. Is Hollandaise a no-no during pg? Cuz I had it everyday for breakfast when we were in Maui for our anniversary trip during my first tri. Even though it's made with egg yolks, I thought it's considered cooked still?

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats?
    Dogs all the way!

Food question #1: pizza or pasta?
This is a REALLY close call but I'd probably go with pizza if I had to choose. I love me Italian food!

Did you live together before you were married? Whichever way you answer, would you do it again?
Nope and yes. Not living together worked out for us and I wouldn't change a thing about how we got together/got married.

I'm watching an old BBC production of Sense and Sensibility. Kind of a crappy adaptation, but I'm a sucker for Jane Austen (well, except for when it has Keira Knightly in it...she annoys me for some reason). How about you?
I like Jane Austen but she's not really on my radar. I never watched the BBC one but I've liked all the Jane Austen movies I've seen before like P&P and the S&S with Keira (she doesn't annoy me so it didn't damper the movie for me).

Food question #2: ice cream, gelato, or frozen yogurt? (Edit: or sorbet!)
OOooo, this is SUCH a toughie. I LOVE tart frozen yogurt, chocolate chip cookie dough/cherry garcia/vanilla bean ice cream, and almost all flavors of gelato. So I guess gelato is the overall winner for most flavors.

OMG! You've won a stunning pair of earrings in a jeweler's contest! As part of the prize, you get to select the gemstones that go in them. What do you go for? Diamonds? Emeralds? Sapphires? Something else?
I'm going to go for diamonds, just cuz I have nothing else to match any other gemstones.

Leggings: OK to wear as pants or not?
I'd say yes but ONLY if something is worn over it so that it covers the butt area, so kinda like under a dress but a long tunic (that may be a little short for a dress) would work too.

I've been known to conduct entire concerts in my car when I'm driving solo - do you sing along, or just quietly enjoy your tunes?
    Sing along! (and dance)

Food question #3: how do you like your eggs?
Fairly runny but not to the point where the yolk just runs like water. I like them tender like poached eggs (I'm a SUCKER for eggs benedict) and even when it's scrambled, I like to scramble them quickly so it's barely cooked and still tender.

You were an unwilling witness to a covert Mafia waffle-smuggling operation. As such, you have to enter the Witness Protection Program. This really sucks, but to make the transition a little easier, the WPP offers to let you choose your new name. What do you pick
ERR, I'm not creative enough to answer this question...maybe something simple, like Jane Smith.

It's cooked, but it's not really cooked enough, you know? Like how you're supposed to have your steak well done - yes, medium or medium rare is cooked, but not to the point where there's zero chance of some nasty bacteria having survived the cooking process. That said, if you have Hollandaise from a jar, it's fine because it's been pasturized - it's just the delish homemade stuff that's a no no. Same thing goes for homemade mayo.

That said, I really wouldn't worry about it if I were you - the odds of actually getting something from it are actually pretty low (the only reason it's not recommended is because if you do happen to be super unlucky, then it's bad news for the baby). So don't stress about it. Smile

  • The pet uprising has begun and you have to choose a side. Who will it be: dogs or cats? this one is tough...I would consider myself a dog person, but I only have a cat now & I do love him!!

Food question #1: pizza or pasta? definitely pasta...we eat pasta a lot at home!

What do you pick? hmm, it would be tough for me to pick a new 1st name, but I do love the french/cajun last names we have in NOLA (i.e. Thibodeaux or Robichaux) and I always thought Vanessa Vanderbilt sounded really nice too!

Ahh. Yeah, that's probably true. Yeah, I actually haven't had hollandaise or eggs benedict since then and the baby's doing well so far so I'm not worried. I just didn't think of it as being partially cooked before, although it is =P I think that since it's a sauce, I didn't think twice about it, whereas I had my eggs well-done poached for the eggs benedict.
