I have my review this week. Depending on the raise I'm offered, I may be leaving the company at the end of March. If I'm not advancing, there's no point in staying. I might as well move home to job search there. It will be way more productive.
But as a side note, I have to sit in on my coworker's reviews . . . awwwwwkard. I'm not looking forward ot this. Especially since one girl is a complete mess. She's nice and she tries, but everything falls apart on execution. Like today, I'm going to murder her because she didn't log an order when it came in like she was supposed to . . . and now we can't find it. Anywhere. I wouldn't be suprised it she got fired in the review. That would be fun! (not)
Anyway, if they don't give me the raise I deserve (I've taken on a ridiculous amount of extra work and responsibility in the last year) I need to find a professional way to say . . . I don't know . . . THIS IS COMPLETE BS. YOU HAVE THE MONEY, GIVE IT TO ME.
Except, you know . . . professional.
Any advice? ![]()
Re: Another work post
Ooo, these are all good. Very professional.
Cracking up!
...I always like the one my coworker pulled...
"You are dead to me."
classic!
Are you serious?! I want to hear this story!
I enjoy the previous suggestions LOL!
But, I agree with Jenny's suggestions...
If you have concrete examples of your work and responsibilities to support your demand for a raise, you have a better leg to stand on and (hopefully) your company will be willing to recognize your achievements and reward you with the raise you deserve. GL!
