supposed to be Thankful Monday (or something like that)?
If so, I'll start. I'm thankful Kelly is no longer in pain. I'm thankful her sons have a wonderful father to help them through this. I'm thankful my cousin is ok (he's in Iraq...long story as to why he wouldn't be ok). I'm thankful that I have my husband who held me and let me cry for over an hour yesterday. And I'm thankful for my friend Ally who called me yesterday right when I needed a call and made me laugh.
Re: Isn't today
I am thankful for MH and the wonderful yet simple day we had yesterday.
I am thankful that I was raised by a loving family.
I am thankful for facebook reuniting me with a long lost friend from my childhood, whom I get to see this weekend!
I'm thankful for all my friends who many I will also be visiting this weekend!
I'm thankful for my puppy Jake even though tomorrow he will be 4 and the cute 12lb puppy that I brought home is now my 100lb wannabe lap dog whom I love so much!
Thanks for keeping this going yesterday Mandy! I totally forgot to post it
I am a day late but I am still going to post
I am thankful I can feel my baby kicking.
I am thankful my mom lets me do laundry at my parents house so I don't have to fight for the washer/dryer at my new complex as much.
I am thankful I got to catch up with my friend on Sunday that I haven't seen in a while.
I am thankful I got to have dinner just me and my parents on Saturday, being one of four that is rare it was nice to be just one and one
I'll be late, too.
(BTW, Jo - how exciting that you got to feel the baby kick!! Yay!!!)
I am thankful the green tape we bought worked as well as it did. I'm also very thankful I like the paint colors we picked. It made me nervous at first because it does look SO different when it's wet/half done vs all four walls, etc.
I am thankful to have the two largest rooms done for painting.
I am thankful for such a hard-working husband who does whatever is necessary to help me. He scrubbed the floor in the hallway and kitchen all afternoon Saturday. His knees were red and raw from crawling around with Magic Erasers.
I am thankful for a quick passing of my Great Uncle. (He fell on Friday in Arizona and was knocked unconscious. He never regained consciousness and Drs believe he was braindead from the time of the fall. He passed away late Friday and got to spend Valentine's Day with his beloved wife, who'd passed a few years ago. He was so lonely after she'd gone.) I'm so glad he didn't suffer; he saw his wife suffer, paralyzed and handicapped, for a few months before passing away.
Somewhat selfish, but I'm also VERY THANKFUL his children are waiting to have a memorial service in IL. Both Greg and I feared having to drive down to Belvidere and back like we did when my Great Aunt passed away.
I'm VERY THANKFUL for the friends that are helping us move (before the actual day of, but also the day of.) We should have a fairly smooth move and probably 50% of our stuff is already there.
It's very exciting Paula
I'm so sorry about your Great Uncle
Thank you, Jo. I'm taking it MUCH BETTER than I'd expected, and definitely better than my parents. This Great Uncle is one of the ones who's been like a grandfather to me (seeing as my own grandfather on this side was gone long before I was born.) But ever since his wife passed away, he just looked so lost and lonely...
Isn't that the best feeling ever!!! Enjoy it now before he starts kicking your ribs or your bladder
