Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Menus

Goooood morning (almost lunchtime lol) ladies! I am glued to the t.v. and the Olympic events, and have been all weekend. I don't know what I am going to do tomorrow when I go back to work Wink

Here's our menu for this week:

Monday: Crock Pot Potato Cheese Soup with crusty bread;

Tuesday: Leftovers;

Wednesday: Glazed Meatloaf with asparagus and salad;

Thursday: Pork Chop Broccoli Bake with rice;

Friday: Leftovers.

  • mmmmm I would totally eat your entire menu...especially the potato cheese soup...that sounds so comforting right now. I can just imagine curling up on the couch with a blanket, a bowl of hot soup and the olympics!
  • Hrmm... this week is going to be a bit of a mess...

    Monday - Apple cinnamon Pork Tenderloin with Spinach and Potato wedges

    Tuesday - Chicken Pad Thai (pre packaged from Longos)

    Wednesday - Likely take out,depending on how late I get home from work (have a meeting in Toronto).

    Thursday - Tofu Stir Fry

    Friday - Pasta or Chicken Fingers/Fries  (have a hockey  game, so I'll need something relatively quick & easy)

     Really... other than last night (because it was a holiday), this week is a bit of a free for all...

    Saturday, my IL's and SIL are coming over.  They have gotten shockingly annoying about what they will and won't eat since she moved back home.  Like she won't eat dairy so they won't now :/  So I am stuck there but I think I am going to use up the French Onion soup I made liters of a while ago and salad and sandwich fixings, then if you don't want cheese or meat etc I don't care!

  • Monday: Asian chicken salad (those Kraft Sizzling Salad kits - I got it for free! YAY!)

    Tuesday: Tuscan white bean and rosemary soup with red pesto

    Wednesday: Almond Apricot Goat Cheese Chicken w/ mint pesto and fauxtatoes (mashed cauliflower w/ a bit of cheese, chicken stock and milk)

    Thursday: Thai steak salad

    Friday: Thai Salmon fishcakes with cucumber ginger dipping sauce
