Lorelai has yet to decide what to give up-isn't it Faschnact (spelling) Day today, too?! Lorelai thought chocolate, but hasn't been a fiend of chocolate lately... soda, but she can give/take soda... sweets would be a hard call.
The good-Lorelai's glad her workplace is busy!! Will keep her mind off the bad and the ugly.
The bad and the ugly-combining all in one... Lorelai's doggy is not doing well-not well at all. Pooch has decided to do nothing-went from semi moving her back end to nothing at all-seems like she's lost her will. Pooch will eat a 'treat', but won't budge. Growls-Lorelai tried to move her to get her to go out (as she wasn't showing signs of pain before), but... very sad. Lorelai left her with a bowl of water and some food and some blankets. Lorelai and DH are taking her in later today, but not sure if they'll be bringing her back.
Good - Lauren only has to be in the office today. It feels weird to her because she hasn't been at the office for 2 weeks due to all the snow.
Bad - Lauren needs to stop eating crap. She had her fun over the weekend; now it's time to buckle down again.
Ugly - Lauren is exhausted today. She's ready to go home already!
Good - Sheri had a great weekend and wishes it didn't end so quickly.
Bad - Sheri is beginning to realize quite quickly this morning that this is going to be quite the rough week at work.
Ugly - Sheri has some serious beef with her MIL and needs out of her house more than ever before she buys a shotgun.
Lauren wants to add to the "Ugly" section of her OP...
Lauren has noticed that the past few days that practically every.little.stupid.thing DH does gets on her nerves. Lauren isn't quite sure what that's about. But, hopefully it goes away. Lauren doesn't like feeling so annoyed at things, but seriously, her DH needs to stop:
missing the toilet
wincing and making pain noises and moans every time he moves because his shoulder hurts. We get it.
chewing with his mouth open

Janelle is considering giving up ice cream for Lent. She doesn't have to give up anything but she always enjoys a good challenge. Once Lent is over though, Janelle will gorge herself in ice cream, she can guarantee you that!
The Good - Janelle got up for her first 4:30am workout in a long time! She feels fabulous and hopes to keep it up. Plus Janelle loves her new tenner shoes!
The Bad - Janelle's in desperate search of coffee and hopes her early wake up call won't put her to bed by 7pm.
The Ugly - Janelle is in serious need of motivation at work today. She procrastinated on a few major projects and needs to get her rear in gear. Baseball season (aka...no social life) is quickly upon her!

Lorelai also hopes (since she has yet to figure out putting in 2 quotes here) Lauren figures out what's annoying her w DH. Lorelai and DH talked about that the other day... DH says it's Lorelai's pile making. L says it's his getting ready and doing things-chores, etc... when L just wants to chill out a bit more in the am and then DH MOVES her lovely piles... Maybe Lauren's DH can help Lauren figure out what it is...? and Lorelai is always in awe of Lauren's Dine and Dash-looks sooo healthy-hope that semi-motivates her?
Kim is sorry to hear about Lorelai's dog. Kim will keep Lorelai, her DH, and her dog is her thoughts and prayers today.
Kim should give up something for lent but usually does not. She is thinking maybe just trying to eat healthier.
The good - Kim had a two hour delay this morning and not a cancelation. She is happy about this because she doesn't want to make up any more days.
The bad - The roads were not fun to drive in to work this morning. Kim doesn't like snow anymore.
The ugly - Kim fought a pole in the parking garage yesterday with her car and the pole won. Kim feels like an idiot because of it. Kim will explain more later.
Cassie is sorry about Lorelai's doggie. She's been there and knows how hard and painful that decision is. However, she knows Lorelai will do what is best for her friend.
Cassie is totally tearing up at work right (still miss you, Morgan). PULL IT TOGETHER WOMAN.
Good: Cassie had to think hard about this. Ooo! Cassie is glad February is half over. Winter trapped in the city blows! And Cassie had a very nice weekend at home.
Bad: Because a horrible cold, Cassie hasn't been able to work out in a week. Her back is starting to suffer the consquences.
Ugly: Review this week. Cassie does not expect a fair raise given her huge increase in repsonsibility in the last year and it will be very disheartening to recognize hat her boss is trying to take advantage of her. Cassie does not want to leave with a bad taste in her mouth. Plus, Cassie has to sit in on two cowoker reviews and they will not. go. well. She's pretty sure one of her employees will be fired by next week. Cassie tried to fix her, but the girl is making Cassie's life so difficult lately she's having a hard time feeling bad about her losing her job.
Amy doesn't know what she should give up for lent...last year she tried to give up soda, but only lasted 2 weeks. Other possible vices to give up: chocolate or ice cream.
Good: Amy got a 96% on her Fundamentals of Nursing test.
Bad: Amy has much more studying to do this week for her nine million other exams/quizzes/stress inducing activities.
Ugly: If winter doesn't let up, she may have to shank someone--most likely someone on her daily commute that doesn't know how to drive in snow/ice conditions!!!!
Sierra also wants to send T&P and a big hug to Lorelai and her doggie.
Sierra is not giving anything up but probably should. She is just going to cut back on her portions.
The good- Sierra's DH's first race is this saturday and Sierra is hopeing her parents get to come. She also wants to thank all the Novembies for their T&P, cause her daddy is feeling better!!
The bad- Sierra's engine will not be here in time for her to race in her car. So she is going to use DH's car when he is not racing.
The ugly- Sierra is extremly nervous about the race, and hopes she can get the hang of it. Sierra is thankful it's only a practice race and not a compatition!!!
good - Kristy has an interview tomorrow and is very excited! She & DH need a change of scenery and the move/new job would be an awesome start to 2010!!
bad - Kristy hasn't worn most of her work clothes in a year and most don't fit (well) anymore. She needs to find a new skirt, pants, or whole new suit today. Kristy needs a junk punch so she stops effing eating and not moving grr!!

Good: Karrey is moving in two days! She is super excited about this and CAN NOT wait to have a fireplace. Though she thinks it would have been a whole lot nicer to have that fireplace throughout the winter and thinks that as soon as they move it likely will never get cold again.
Bad: Karrey is moving in two days! This means that she needs to have every single thing packed up for the uhauls arrival on Friday. She is working herself too much and is in the process of killing her back. Her stewpid husband doesn't get it. Karrey is lucky to have so much vacay stored up that she can take the two days off and not even notice a dent in her vacation bucket.
The Ugly: Once Karrey moves out of her current nasty house, she has to clean it to be able to see her 1K deposit. She sure would like to get that back so she thinks it is worth it to do some cleaning. She thinks that is pretty yucky!.
Cassie needs a little extra ugly. Her back is so bad this morning her shoulder muscles are creating what feel like a hump next to her spine. It's so painful and it's making concentrating nearly impossible.
The Good - Amber is in love with her new puppy. He just melts Amber's heart with his puppy kisses and cuteness.
The Bad - Amber is really feeling stressed out at her job lately and wishes there was a way to be a stay at home mom/wife. Amber would love to be able to pick her son up from school and have that extra 2 hours of quality time with him.
The Ugly - Amber's son's father is a D-Bag. Amber could go on and on but it will just get her fired up. Amber can't wait until the day when D realizes it for himself. In the meantime Amber will continue to try and be the best mommy.

Good: Kirstin and her dh are getting a tiny tax return.
Bad; Kirstin and her DH thought they were getting back way more then they are. But getting a tiny bit back is better then owing, so they are ok.
Ugly: Kirstin gained another pound. She really needs to get serious about losing wait or else she is going to quickly find herself back at her heaviest weight
Put the bagel and ice cream down for the love of god!
Jenny wants to send love and hugs out to her Novembies who have ugly uglies this week!
The good: Jenny has lost 5 lbs in a month, and is very proud of her diet and workout progress. Jenny knows it will be a bit slower in this next month, because she has been sick and has only been going for walks instead of working out for the past week.
The bad: Jenny feels like a hypochondriac because of her arm pain, but is going to suck it up and call her doc today. Jenny's H is not very sypathetic and is telling her that there is nothing wrong with her arm. Jenny begs to differ.
The ugly: Jenny's BIL has been really sick since Christmas and thinks he might have ulcerative colitis, but can't get in to the specialist for another month! Jenny is worried about him, and her SIL, since SIL is 30 weeks pregnant and does not need to be stressed.
Holy Cow!!! Lorelai can't believe it's only in 2 days!!! Wow!!

Good- Kirsten slept in untill 10 today!
Bad-It is snowing again!
Ugly- Kirsten is very dissapionted in herself for the way she has been eating. Kirsten NEEDS to go on a diet and drop 5-10 pounds!
Katie is debating on giving up Pepsi for Lent . . . but hasn't observed Lent in years so she isn't sure about this yet.
The Good: Katie has a week without her boss around.
The Bad: Katie has a week without her boss around.
The Ugly: The blanket Katie is snuggled up in smells like stinky dog. Katie's bulldog Trudie is a blanket stealing stinker.
Breanne agrees with Jen. Breanne has already given up lots of things she likes, so she is exempt from further giving up. Breanne is thinking she will make a better effort to go to church regularly b/c she and DH have been slacking on that front lately.
The good: work is more manageable this week.
The bad: STILL throwing up and tired. Breanne is in the second trimester. She wants to feel better already!
