North Carolina Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

  • Yeah, I don't know what that's about.  I'm not sure what to do about it either.
  • Get someone that got the fishy email to take a look at the full header w/out opening it (you can do this in some email interfaces. e.g. by right-clicking the subject in Outlook & selecting Message Options).

From there, you should be able to tell by looking at all the gobbledy gook whether it's actually sent from your account (bad) or whether someone somehow snatched your distribution list & is posing as you (not as bad, but there's really nothing you can do about it).

At a minimum, change your email password ASAP.
