It's really a short story because I don't know enough of the details.
Apparently, T was working for a dentist. One day she was in the store the MIL works in and mentioned "I'm marrying my boss!" They were married. He died under "mysterious circumstances." Supposedly T was upstairs taking care of a sick ferret (seems her ferrets get sick a lot....) and he had an "accident" in the garage. T's MIL had her denied everything from the will.
S once explained to me that T's first husband was a habitual pot user and that he spent his free time working in the garage on cars. Apparently he got stoned and had the engines going on both cars and died from the carbon monoxide.
As a former enjoyer of the ganj - I don't believe it for a second. Yes you get a little dumb when baked but not so far gone that you don't realize that you're in a closed garage with two engines running.
