Update on Ultrasound
Hey Girls! I'm finally back from Boca and I am back at work this morning...ugh! I still need at least one more day off.
I went for my first ultrasound to determine gestational age yesterday. I was a little disappointed, but it was still good news.
The gestational sac was there and so was the yolk sac, and I was measuring 5 weeks 4 days. I knew I wasn't 7 weeks as determined by my LMP, but I really hoped to be far enough along to see a heartbeat. I don't think my anxiety about ending in a miscarriage will end until I hear/see that sweet little heart.
At first I was a little upset. But my doctor did say that what is there is absolutely perfect for how I am measuring, and that mixed with my syptoms makes him feel confident that I just caught it a little early.
He did an HCG screen yesterday, and I have another one tomorrow to hopefully put my mind at ease until I have my next ultrasound on March 1st.

Aw I'm sorry you're not as far along as you were hoping but I'm glad that everything is ok with the baby
March 1st is just around the corner so you'll see that heartbeat in no time
