Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

thanks for all of your advice and sweet words yesterday about my friend situation. i am going to write her an email and let it go at that. i also have determined that my expectations must be too high, so i'm going to work on lowering them to zilch. then, when she does anything i'll be happily surprised. that's such a weird sentence to write since i'm the eternal optimist, but it's what needs to happen for my own sanity.
