Did you head up to Maggie Valley? How was the skiing?

Hey,
Yeah we left on Fri and went over the weather and roads were awful, due to the rockslide on I40 last fall we had to take these little windy roads and the snow and ice were terrible. We did finally get there late Fri night. We went skiiing on Sat at Cataloochee and I spent most of my time on my butt or plowing people over..LOL My husband grew up in the snow and is a very good skier, as for me well lets just say FL girls dont' play winter sports! haha I did finally get the hang of it and it was a good experience since I hadn't ever been. So all in all it was a nice weekend for DH and I. I was really sore though until Mon when I got back to the gym and worked out some of the stiffness. We got back home to KY and now we've had a winter blizzard outside since then I am just so over the snow and winter hopefully DH and I will be living somewhere warmer by next winter! Have you ever been to Maggie? DH and I are thinking about riding the motorcycle back over this summer through the mountains its beautiful over there.
