So-are ya watching the Olympics?...
... we've had it on each evening-semi=watching, semi=noise...
We thought the one snowboarding one yesterday was pretty cool! (whether we think it should be an Olympic sport... ,still cool!) DH and I thought we'd have fun doing that-if we were 20 yrs younger, that is...
The skating-the one US team just didn't look into it-the 16 yr old blonde and the other guy.
And Curling starts tonight... that is just intriguing... brushing the ice... wha?!?
Re: So-are ya watching the Olympics?...
We've watched some of the skiing, snowboarding, speed and figure skating. I enjoyed the figure skating especially, but was disappointed at how many skaters fell and how many of the performances looked the same (since they have all the same requirements now). Overall, pretty interesting to watch though.
I watched a little snowboarding and pairs figure skating last night. This is so lame, but I totally had a tear when the chinese couple who've been doing this for 18 years finally won gold! This is their 4th olympics and they're getting married and most likely retiring after this. So cute! I want to watch the men's figure skating tonight, I love Evan Lysiciek or however you spell it. I love when they skate like MEN. I mean, I understand it's probably a gay dominant sport, but just cause you're gay doesn't mean you skate like a girl. Man up, b!tches.
Ha! Agreed!
I've been catching bits here and there but nothing too major. Love the snowboarding and skiing events mostly.
I have to admit I have tried curling before and frankly it's pretty darn fun (partaking of Pabst Blue Ribbons while I was playing helped make it fun). It's ridiculous how hard it really is! It's not something I'd care to watch hours on end, but to actually play it is the way to go.
