How are you doing? Are you still on bedrest? I hope everything is starting to heal and you're able to get off bedrest soon!
I bet the girls are getting really big! I'd love to see an updated picture of them!
Re: **Kristi**
Still on bedrest. They found a second one. I'm back at home though since my parent's are in St. Thomas (I sooooo wish I was in the warm weather). My mother's helper is back from Oregon and driving me up a wall. I really like her but she is aggravating me to no end. She's all about no doctor's and vaccinations and was pitching a fit yesterday because my cleaning guy was there and said it was unsafe for the babies. The icing on the cake was when she came in and said I needed to buy them new sheets because Ava had a rash from the sheets. These are the same sheets they have been sleeping on since the day they came home from the hospital and the same detergent. I about lost it at that point. But I need her help unfortunately.
Sofia is getting big. It's weird. She's not fat, but she is so long. It's unreal. Her cheeks are chubby but she is slender in her body. It's so cute. She has the longest eyelashes and bluest eyes. And she has figured out how to make eyes with people. So she has been doing that a lot.
Poor Ava just isn't putting on weight or growing in length. I'm actually pretty worried about it. Plus we suspect she may have some food allergies. We are taking her to the doctor this afternoon. I just hope she put on some weight. Neither one of us thinks she has. My brother is going with me since b is away. She is so funny. She blows bubbles and really gets into it.
We just took some Valentine's pictures of them over the weekend. I will upload them to the computer.
How is Declan? He is adorable. Love his big eyes.
**butting in**
Very much looking forward to seeing the pics. I hope you get good news at this afternoon's appointment, and hopefully heal soon.
I'm sorry to hear you're still on bedrest and they found another one! I really hope you heal soon and can get out of bed and spend time with your girls.
That would annoy me to no end too being told you need to change the sheets and the cleaning guy can't come because it's unsafe for the babies! When Declan had a really bad diaper rash his teacher at daycare told me it must have been the wipes...even though he was on the same wipes he has been on since he was born. I think it was the wiper.
Poor Ava...I hope you get good news today that she's put on some weight. I don't blame you for being worried. Hopefully the doctor is able to come up with a plan to put some weight on her!
I bet the girls are so cute together. That's so funny how Sofia knows how to use her eyes to her advantage. Declan does the same thing!
He is HUGE! I just measured and weighed him over the weekend and he's already 21.5 lbs and 31 inches long. He is a great eater and just started realizing he can pick food up with fingers and put it in his mouth. He adores Toby but always wants to pull his hair (which Toby is not fond of). Declan will sit in his highchair and lean over the edge and hit the side of the chair like he's calling Toby over. Then when Toby's next to him he'll drop a cheerio or something on the floor for Toby to eat. It's so funny!
I can't wait to see pictures of the girls from over the weekend. I'm sorry you're having such a difficult pregnancy this time around too!
::butting in too::
I look forward to seeing updated pictures of the girls too. Kristi, I'm sorry you are still in bed rest and I hope that Ava has a positive update appointment toda.
Kristen, in regards to Declan dropping food to Toby, be careful. David did the same thing with Mishu and now he has to feed Mishu part of his food at every meal. It gets so bad that there are times we need to lock her up. Or he thinks that once he is done, he can give her the rest by throwing it on the floor or against the walls (basically where ever it lands)
Thanks for the heads up. The same sort of thing happened with my niece and their dog. I'm going to put a stop to it soon...I just think it's funny how he picked up on calling the dog over to him by hitting the side of his chair. Unfortunetly everytime I tell Declan "no" he starts laughing and then I start laughing and then he thinks it's alright.
That is TOO funny!
Sofia is obsessed with Louie. She is always trying to touch him. And he runs away from her and never gets too close. He loves to cuddle up with Ava. I watch her very carefully because I don't want her to hurt him, but he loves to snuggle up with her. And I think she likes it too.
