Bath topic again, product recs?
OK you bath experts (Rynna, Jenny

), do you have some favorite bath products you could recommend? I've been meaning to go out and get some bubble bath, bath salts, and the like but keep forgetting. What are some of your favorite items to luxuriate in and where can I get them?
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Bath topic again, product recs?
I use lavender epsom salts or the J&J vapor baby bath for my sinuses.
I also like Body Shop bubble baths, they create lots of bubbles!
funny you posted this...I was just looking at this site that someone on the F&B board mentioned...the products look yummy and I can't wait to try some...

the Philosophy products on Sephora look yummy too...
Most of what I use comes from Bath and Body Works- the bubble bath at least. Their signature scents are great. I always keep Warm Vanilla Sugar, Moonlight Path (lavender), Midnight Pomegranate, and Black Raspberry Vanilla on hand, to mix with whatever else I use. If you're not really into the bubbles, but just want aromatherapy, go into the baby section of Target or somewhere similar, and pick up Johnson & Johnson's "calming bath" or something. It comes in a purple bottle, and it smells like lavender, and is great for stress relief.
If you have an Ulta nearby, they have a "face mask" section- they are these packets, a little bigger than your palm, that have different types of facial products. Some are cloth masks, some are just product that you apply, let sit, then wash off, and some are the kind that harden on your face, and you peel off. They are about a dollar or so, each, so you can stock up and try lots of different things, before committing to a large bottle of something. Ulta is the best one-stop for bath and spa items, they actually have a whole section you can go through.
A neck pillow is a MUST for me.
If you get salts, make sure you use very hot water, and let the tub fill BEFORE you get in- bath salts do NOT feel very good on "sensitive areas".
My favorite routine: Prepare a few minutes ahead of time- rinse and empty the tub (it gets dusty- wipe with a washcloth if you have curious cats who like to play in the tub). Bring a few (5-6, more makes it too hot) candles and a lighter or matchbox, and a portable iPod player preset with a relaxing playlist. Start the water, add billions of bubbles and some bath salts, pick a facemask to try, put the hair up with a clip, light the candles, turn off the lights, then start the iPod. If FI is home and feeling sweet, he will put a towel in the dryer for me and bring it to me, warm, when I get out. This is awesome in the winter, not so necessary in the summers...
I actually took my first bubble bath in the new apartment last night, and it was great. I definitely need to find a cushion for the tub bottom though- our garden tub at the house was made of a plastic material, and was a little soft, but the tub in the apartment is metal and very hard.
I'm a big fan of Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Sugar Scrubs, I usually use them after hot yoga, they're great exfoliators and I was surprised that they're moisturizing as well (I usually don't need to put on body lotion afterwards).
I just bought a small tub of lavendar bubble bath/foam from Whole Foods, we're trying to switch over to more sustainable/green house and beauty/bath products, I haven't used it yet, but I'll let you know if its any good.
