ok last question, I promise (I think!).
So the Canon Rebel xsi at Sams is $599. The lady said that she saw some sets in the back that aren't on display, they're the regular xs but come with the bag, the card to store the pictures, and an extra lens. That kit is $649.
If you were deciding between the two of those, which would you pick?

aidt, any thoughts on the canon powershot as a point & shoot?
I have the canon powershot and it's good. Takes good pictures. The light adjustment delay annoys me. But that was the case with my other camera as well, until it bit the dust on a bar room floor. ::sigh::
i feel so loved.
christen, it would depend on what the extra lens is. is there any way to find out what it is (the length of the zoom and the aperture / f stop?)
shoe, any of the powershots are great.
