My coworker just told me I should write a book
called . . .
"It's not my job to flirt with you, by the way you're not even good at it, leave me alone."
It's about not wanting to get hit on by men at the gym . . . Or really in general.
Re: My coworker just told me I should write a book
This!
I just feel like men are really unconcious of how inappropriate they are, especially with unwanted comments. My coworker was telling me how we had a guy come to service our boiler and he said, "You must stay skinny because of the all the stairs in your office." He didn't mean it in a creepy way, but dude, not appropriate. Just take a step back and think, "Would I say this to a man? Am I talking to close friend or partner? No?! THEN MAYBE I SHOULD KEEP MY TRAP SHUT."
Like. You should.
I don't get hit on as often as I used to, but I still get creepy-stalker-clueless types. I keep my headphones in everywhere, and I'm not always playing music. I know I don't seem nice or approachable, but I just don't want to deal with random inappropriate flirtation. Hello! Wedding Ring! Earphones! Don't talk to me.
