Hi!
I just discovered this board. I had no idea there was a nest board for Oct. '09 weddings. Anyway, I was married on Halloween this past year. I usual post on the NJ Knot board (having a hard time moving over to the Nest b/c it seems babies/kids are the big theme). I'll try to stop by this board more often. Hope everyone had a nice first married holiday season!

well I mostly grew up in Middletown, NJ... but then I met my hubby who is a NYC firefighter, living in Staten Island, so I moved here for him since he can't live outside the 5 boroughs. We bought a house (his parents house actually) and now we are dealing with painting, furniture shopping, depleting our funds, etc....
we chose Halloween as our wedding date b/c we loved the venue and it was one of the last dates they had had available in 2009, so we took it. what an amazing day! the weather was perfect, considering it rained every weekend in October!
