LMW re: shirtless at salon

LMW! I had one of my first thinking-of-E08-in-real-life moments last night. I went to get my haircut after work, and since I got there early my stylist was still finishing off a customer. When the customer got up from the chair, I noticed that she had on a kimono, and went in the back (I'm assuming to put her shirt back on) and came back dressed. It was so odd, because I've never seen this at any salon ever, and my stylist at that salon has never offered or implied that I should take my shirt off. Maybe you have to ask? Or there's some special signal?

Weird that they have inconsistent policily like that. Maybe I just don't look like a kimono-type person. Discrimination!

Re: LMW re: shirtless at salon

  • LOL! I still don't get it!!! At all!

Do men take off their shirts to get a haircut? How about kids?

    It's sooooo weird!!

Even if getting chemicals on your hair, I'd rather have the chemicals on my clothes than burning off my skin.

You should ask for a kimono next time you go, just for fun! Wink

  • LOL! I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face. " So, uh, can I get one of those robe things so I can take my shirt off?"

  • Or hell, just wear the kimono and keep your shirt on, like me!

She must think I am podunk. Lol.
