Can I have some cheese with my whine?
M has been working late (well, late for him) the past 2 weeks (last week and now this week) and while I normally don't mind having the house to myself, he doesn't get home until 8:00pm - 8:30pm, then he forces himself to stay up until 10pm (he would normally go to bed at 9pm) just so he can take his time eating his dinner then sit with me for at least a little bit. I swear to almighty God I will lose it if he doesn't get compensated for this!!! Granted I just got to spend this past whole weekend with him, but still that will be probably the last/only weekend for a long time.
I miss him, a lot.
Re: Can I have some cheese with my whine?
awe boo that sucks.
Dh does a TON of freelance work from home. So while he is there at home with me I hardly get to see him because he is holed up in his office. It suskcs having him home and not being able to spend time with him. So I totally feel for ya!
Boo. I know how you feel. My hubs works late a few days a week and on the weekends he has to work from home!
Why wouldn't M get compensated though? I'm hoping he does! That just wouldn't be right if he didn't!
Yep-can definitely feel your pain...
DH is gone at least 2 eve's/wk to go to 2 karate classes w his son. He loves karate, but when he's gone 2 nights, I work late Thurs... and then he was gone a bit this week, I miss him...
Plus, it's too darned quiet w/out the doggie and I have just gone on a work out frenzy, a cleaning frenzy and now... a Nestie frenzy...
Hope he gets an awesome compensation for this, though!
They "cut back on OT". He must get this job done on time, but he's supposed to use the least amount of OT as possible, but the things he has to do cannot get done in an 8 hour day. So he was told to do what he has to do to get it done and get it done right. He has had a chat with his boss about how much he's been working and his boss told him if "not to worry about it, you'll be taken care of". We don't know what that means, hopefully good things.
