Tax Question - 1099S - Realtors?

I sold my house (finally!) last year after a while on the market.  I started doing our taxes and it is asking for a 1099S form for the gain on sale.  I never received one and have no idea who was supposed to send it to me.  My realtor moved out of town after the sale and the title company hasn't returned my phone calls.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Tax Question - 1099S - Realtors?

  • I am pretty sure that it should be in the paper work that was given to you from the title company.  It should be the paper that states the sale of the home with signatures. But I know someone that knows for sure can help.
