Guess who got pulled over this morning?
Yep. Me.
So this State Trooper always hides out on one of the back roads that I take every morning. He sits tucked away in a field where the speed drops to 45 from 55. Yep, clocked me 60 in a 45. He pulled out right behind me, so I turned on my turn signal and pulled into a driveway. I swear, blue lights= instant tears for me. He came up, told him he clocked me at 15 over. I literally pleaded for my life. Told him, I was so sorry, I was running late for work. He probably thought I was a babbaling idiot. He still took my license and registration. He came back, told me it was my lucky day and told me to "slow it down on these back roads." Whew. I have never been so releaved in my life. Talk about a heart attack all before 7:00. Lesson learned. No more speeding on the back roads, and I'll be leaving 15 minutes earlier in the mornings.
