So a realtor just barged in on me
Thank god something told me to put all my work clothes away and to put on something other than the pajamas I usually put on when I get home from work. I was sitting on my couch reading a book when I heard voices outside...opened the door on a very freaked out realtor. It was the same girl from yesterday and she said they were there for a second look and apologized for scaring the shiit out of me. Thing is, yesterday was their second look, so this is look #3! OMG I want this to work out so badly!

That's crazy, Val - THREE TIMES?! I don't know what you feel you need to look at again... by the second time around, you have given it a once over and planned where to put furniture! LOL

Thanks guys! I can't really talk...we've been at the builders' every weekend since the week before we put the deposit down...4 weeks maybe? And for at least an hour each time. I've walked through the same house about 6 times and then we decided to go with a different floor plan. :-S
That makes me nervous.

To me, deciding how you want a house BUILT requires more than one or two visits. LOL But to see a house that's already COMPLETE?
Unless you're planning HUGE renovations (knocking out walls, expanding, moving plumbing, etc. - the kinds of things most people need contractors for), I have to wonder why three visits are needed, you know? If you didn't like the placement of that wall the first two times, you expect the third viewing might win you over?!

We walked through so many houses to get the main plan down. While we were building, our builder would bring us to other houses to see what style we wanted the granite cut, where we wanted to place the kitchen island, the type of fireplace, the front door. (Granted this was DH's cousin, so we didn't have to choose everything at once). Still, I'm sure you will be seeing the builder as time goes on.
Also, no matter how much you hem and haw over something, you will more likely than not wish you did something differently. There are things that I wish we could change but at this point, it's not worth it.
