So I told my C/Ws today...
joking, but not really...that I may do early labor stages here, at the office. We, I'm sorry THEY, were joking about my water breaking at work and I got off on this theory...
I want to labor at home for as long as possible, but being that this is the first, I really don't know how fast the kid will want to shoot out. We live a good 30 min from the hospital and I'm just a little nervous about waiting too long. Well, I work on the same road as my hospital/Dr and I had the brilliant idea of hanging out here until necessary. We have a shower, couch that folds out into a bed and I'm comfortable here. Not like home, but hmmm...it's certainly got me thinking!

Re: So I told my C/Ws today...
I forget... which hospital? If I may ask...
Edit: Ok, I looked back at PMs. Got it!
BR Gen.
Are you taking those BM classes at Ochsner?
Well, it's no sex during contractions!
Not yet, I kind of just want to get the book... Oh I don't know...
I could not handle hanging out where I work, but I am quite particular about stuff, and like being at home.
I am going to stay at home as long as possible, and I am more concerned that I won't stay at home long enough. My SIL who has done natural birth told me that I will know when it's time to go, she said if you pay attention to your body you'll know. So I am banking on the idea that my body will in fact know when to go (hopefully it will anyway, haha).
LOL
Do you have a friend that lives closer in whose house you could labor at for a while?
Sorry- I have no idea how to structure that sentence. That is terrible!
bwahahahahahahaha!!!
I told John this story last night he was quite skeeved out.
I keep trying to get Josh to read it. Me retelling it totally would not give it justice.
