Freaking out, missed period
ok so, i've been on the pill for 3 years, had a normal period for the last two years. in december i got it a day early, and it did the same in january. now in february...i had very very light spotting on the sunday that should've been the last day of my normal period....didn't start stressing til the day before that happened, and to be safe im waiting 2 weeks before i go to my doctor for my annual pap test. but i've been so stressed and anxious for the last week, don't think im pregnant, but it's always possible. haven't made any changes to my schedule.......i'm just curious if anyone has just plain missed a period for a month that has usually been regular on the pill

I've missed a period while on the pill before, usually during months when I'd been terrible about missing one and had doubled up a few days, or when I was particularly stressed.
If you're really worried about it, go see your GP/gyno. Or just buy a HPT at least cross that off the list.

One side effect of being on the pill is that it can lighten your periods - sometimes to the point of non-existance. It's fairly common.
You're not really building up a uterine lining while on the pill, so you don't really have anything to shed on your period.
Most women really enjoy this particular side effect.
Take a HPT if you're really worried.

This happened to me when I was still on the pill. Turns out I was given a generic type of birth control that made my hormone levels drop. I went to the doctor and she gave me hormone pills and a Provera shot to jumpstart my period.
It's not a fun feeling so see a doctor asap! GL!

I don't know which is scarier: that your friend got pregnant while on the pill or that she was having sex with a goat!
OP, either pee on a stick or move your appointment with the doctor up if you're truly concerned. No one here can tell you with any degree of certainty whether or not you're pregnant.

If you're that worried, just take an HPT to find out for sure. It will give you peace of mind.
This happened to me & I definitely wasn't pregnant. But I did go to the doctor and he confirmed that this is common.
