I think IIRC there's someone else, right?
I was just curious to hear someone's feedback on her show today...when they played that song "The Ex-Beauty Queen's Gotta Gun."
I have to admit. I cringed. A lot.
I'm all for poking fun at politicians...just last night, I almost choked myself because I was laughing so hard at the stuff Jon Stewart was saying about Biden.
But it seemed like this song/parody/whatever it was just crossed a few too many lines. Poking fun at Bristol's pregnancy. Then the line about finding Sarah Palin hiding under a desk (then hearing 'that's probably how she got the job in the first place). It made me feel gross and I was really disappointed that Steph was playing it and that she had the singer on.
Overreacting on my part? I usually have a sense of humor about this kind of stuff, but I think it's a fine line between good natured joking or downright mean sexism. And I thought this was the latter.
Re: Stephanie Miller listeners...c'mere.
I didn't actually listen today, so I didn't hear this.
She does have a tendency to cross the line, though.
I am the 99%.
