I am so frustrated right now. I had to go home and pick up my two dogs and drop them off at MIL's. Our property that we rent is huge but no one on my road has fenced in yards, anyone can walk onto your property with no problem. So we tie our Dogs up during the day, and the house we live in has been broken into twice before with previous tenants. Which is why our Landlord is cool that we have dogs, he lives upstairs and has a Dog himself. Anyhoo, when my Landlords are gone (which is a lot) the neighbor would come onto our property and use whatever tools he wanted from the Garage, he has kicked my dog doing so and I confronted him about it right after I witnessed it. I had asked him not to come onto our properyy anymore without permission. Because of this previous incident Bosley can't stand him and neither can I. When he sneaks over he comes through the bushes, so of course my dogs are gonna be on the defense. So today they have people over their house doing work....using saws walking all over the place. My Dogs were barking because it's very loud and unusual activity. So this Ahole neighbor calls my landlord to complain about my barking dogs. I have researched it and the law states that as long as your dog isn't barking at night and early mornings then they the neighbor is at a loss. My Dogs only bark when someone comes into the driveway or unusual noise....and when we are home they don't bark hardly and quiet down quickly. Supposedly this old man is fixing up his house to sell it, I can not wait....oh did I mention he and his wife are nudist and you can see them walking around they're yard naked during the day. I was gardening and looked up and could not believe my eyes, and they smoke pot, medical or not, I have a few complaints of my own that I just let go. Anyways, just needed to vent, I stopped at Cupies and will be having some breaded teriyaki and chow fun for lunch, I need to relax.
Re: neighbors!!! Long
oh bad neighbors are the WORST!! and he kicked your dog!?! That is really not okay! Have you talked to your landlord about this guy just coming on to your property? And if there is no fence, is it legal for them to walk around outside in their birthday suits?
either way, i know nasty neighbors just suck. I am sorry. I hope your landlord can talk some sense into him!
Your A-hole neighbors beat my smoking neighbors & even my party people neighbors hands down. I can't believe the nerve coming and getting tools without asking first. And kicking your dog who is tied up... OMFG! That would make me out of my mind crazy pissed off.
Fingers crossed that this jerk sells his house QUICK!
Ooooh I'd be beyond pissed if someone kicked my dogs! Also, I'm wondering about this too:
Is there any way you could find out?
I was reading an old article....apparently I'm wrong here....if the barking exceeds 10 coninuous minutes non stop for over an hour than I can get fined as an owner for owning a nuisance animal. But this is if there are no triggers except that of the lack of the owners responsibility such as walking the dog and keeping it indoors and other BS. So in this case I would not be at fault because they were barking at the noise coming from next door. But still, now I gotta explain all this to my landlord. I wish we could afford our own house, with enough land away from Ahole neighbors.
As for the nudity, not sure if it could be a legal issue....there are tall bushes but there are bare spots that you can see straight into their and our yard. They have a pool too, so I'm guessing that's one of the reasons they are nude a lot....I gotta laugh because they are like in their 70's, if it was some hot guy and his hot girlfriend I wouldn't complain that much
LOL
I'm not gonna worry about it, we take care of our animals and if we owned the property it would deffinetly be enclosed, not only for the dogs, but I like my privacy, what if I want to walk around my yard naked
Wow. I have no words. That's beyond. Next time he comes on your property I'd call the cops for tresspassing and also report that he has abused your dog. They may fine him for that.
I hope they sell their home and leave you in peace. There are neighborhoods here that don't have fences between the neighbors homes...in the city!!!! I won't even consider looking at them...I want a fenced yard...ALL THE WAY AROUND our home. I don't care if it seems un-neighborly or not!
