Our House!
First of all, I know I'm not a regular poster. I work for the state and really can't be on during the day (nor do I have time).
But I have some great news!
DH and I bought a house! It's a cute 3 br, 1.5 bath ranch that is stuck in the 70s - but with some paint and new carpet (and eventually a new kitchen and bathroom), it'll be perfect! Plus the price was right and the sellers were willing to give us some concessions!
We signed the contract today! We close in about a month! Inspections and appraisals here we come (and then paint, carpeting, and moving in)! Adulthood... here we come!

I work for the state too, but I'm on most of the day.
No photos yet.
But I'll try to get some up to a blog or something when we finally close. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch.
Yeah, I work with our state Reps doing policy work for tax issues. It's a rare day that I actually just sit at my desk.

We bought our first house back in June....Its stuck in the 70s, 80s and 90s so we have been working on it little by little. Its fun, but lots of hard work if you are doing it yourself like we are.
Congratulations! As exhausting as it may be, it's so rewarding in the end.
