day from hell

So today I have the worst day ever.  I teach from 10:46 straight through to 2:35 then I have to hop in the car and pick up the girls I nanny for at 3 (thankfully today I only have one pick up), I take them home do snack homework and instrument parctive and make the family dinner, have dinner on the table for 6 when the parents get home, leave and go back to school for parents night until 9!  Which means I have been at school since 7 am and now still have like 11 hours more to work!  By the end of parents night I will be talking nonsense I am sure!  I get to then go home only to return to the same room I spent my day and night in to do it all again at 7 am!

Did anyone say movie day tomorrow?

Re: day from hell

  • Ugh.  I know my mom seems to be at school 12 straight hours when she has teachers' night.  I can't even imagine trying to squeeze the nanny gig into that.

  • It sucks.  But just think it is getting you ready for mommyhood! Big Smile

I am typically up by 6 and by the time our nanny comes at 8, I have fed the kids breakfast, gotten them dressed, emptied and re-loaded the dishwasher and cleaned the kitchen from breakfast, started a load of laundry, gotten my self ready for work, packed my lunch, and played with the kids.

Then I work 9-5:30 and come home in time to cook dinner for the kids and us, give the kids a bath and get them ready for bed, play with the kids, and get them into bed.  After they go to sleep around 8:30, we clean the kitchen from dinner, do another load of laundry, and do things around the house that need to get done.  We usually get done around 10.

And do it all again the next day! Stick out tongue

But tomorrrow is friday and I think we are just chilling so that will be fun!
