Restaurant Week, anyone?

I just made a reservation for us to finally try Lumiere.  Anyone else plan on taking advantage of the deals?

It's March 14-19 and march 21-26 by the way.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Restaurant Week, anyone?

  • I <3 Restaurant week!  I have to talk to the hubby and figure out when and where we want to go.  I know they also have a partnership with Arts Boston and are offering some discounts on shows too!

  • We definitely take advantage of it. However, I just started Weight Watchers so I'm really hesitant to participate. I have no self control when it comes to restaurants!

  • Do you recommend any places?

  • Antico Forno in the North End, Dante in Cambridge, Ginger Park in the South End, Pazzo on Newbury, Post 390 in Back Bay, and Tangierino in Charlestown,

  • I'm excited! It's always around my birthday (which we'll be out of town for) but I'm psyched that it's 2 weeks this year (maybe it has in the past too?).
  • No. 9 Park is on the list too. Very tempted to go back there....

My birthday is around then too! When is your birthday?

I LOVE Antico Forno and I'm going to Pazzo next week. I just did Post 390 yesterday. And I'm the same with you about self control at restaurants. I try to limit eating out to just once a week and using most of my 35 points on it. And I try getting in a morning workout, too.

  • We try to go with a couple of our friends..I think this year we're hitting up No. 9 Park on a Thursday night. I'm looking forward to it!

Pazzo is great. It used to be Croma which I loved so it's a good replacement and the menu is really good! I think I'll try to do one restaurant each week so I don't feel so bad. My H and I usually go to at least 4!

3/18! that's awesome! one month till then! :-)

  • I went to Radius last year and it was really good....although I did substitute non-restaurant week items for 2 of my courses.  I never feel like the restaurant week choices are as good as the normal menu items so I am hesitant to try new restraunts for restaurant week.  I did like that you could sub in for things at Radius though since I want to make sure I got a real taste of what they offer.  It was just more $$.

Ah our condo is right by Tangierino. I used to love going there when we lived there.

I have heard great things about Post 390, actually. I might give that a try when I'm back up there on bidness in a few weeks.

Charleston had RW in january and just continued it through the entire month! *neener neener* *sticks tongue out*

    Stick out tongue

  • Oh, thanks for the heads-up!  We always miss it.  I hope that we can take advantage of it this year.  Any suggestions??

Oh man I loved Croma!  I was so sad when they closed.  DH and I used to go and get an appetizer, a pizza, and a dessert and share everything.  So good.

  • I am excited. My bday is 3/4 and my sisters is 3/11 so looks like we are going to have to celebrate a couple times!

  • I have reservations for L'Andana and Capital Grille.  Yay!
  • Lumiere is very yummy! DH took me last year for my birthday. I'm not sure where we might try this year, but all the suggestions look good...
