is anybody here? lol im stuck in the house today, we are having a new hot water tank installed. yipeeeeee no more cold showers!

I am. Just not wanting to be at work (wasting time on FB and TN). And not looking forward the weekend as I have a EMT refresher/exam this weekend.
You probably can't wait to get that first 'hot' shower... lol. I know I would.

im also not looking forward to this weekend, we are starting to do some work on our house, finally. lol the contractor wants to start tomorrow. that means today/tonight we have to move everything out of the 2 downstairs bdrms (1 of them is our bdrm, the other we use as a reading/computer room) we then have to sleep in one of the upstairs bdrms for a few weeks until everything finished. also means i have no computer for at least a week. thank god i have a crackberry aka blackberry haha not looking forward to any of this but at the same time i cant wait to get the work done and move on to the next project!
I'm here, bored out of my skull with a ton of laundry to do and no desire to do it.
I hear you on the hot water tank thing. My parent's went out about a year ago but they were so lazy on getting it replaced that we took cold showers all summer long. Now their second one went out last week but sure, that one they replaced right away!
And Mittens is here too. Did I tell you all how she drank dish soapy water the other night and then exploded all over our bedroom floor? It was disgusting the say the least.

I'm here now...not for long though... I was with DH all day while he did his maple syrup thing...and some of our nieces and nephews came to watch him. Now we're getting ready to go to the gym.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow night because my friend is having a girls night slumber party...so that should be fun!
confession: we shower at the gym so we dont have to use our own hot water!
