Body Shop Recs?
Apparently I need a body shop rec 
I got rear ended on the way home from work today. The other guy had insurance, and I definitely want to get it repaired well. I know lots of Nestie Wives have husbands in the business ... so any trustworthy recs?
Also, if you have any advice/knowledge about what happens with accidents/carfax that would be an awesome bonus! I had to call the police (because it was the legal thing to do, and also I could not communicate with the guy and had no idea if he had insurance or anything). I just bought the car because I got a really good deal on a fun car ... but planned on selling/trading it in next year when we decide to have kids. Is this definitely going to go on Carfax? Is this going to kill the value of the car?

I've had good luck with Oak Hill Body and Paint- DH's parents send all of their body work there. Enterprise is around the corner and will pick you up.
More than Carfax, it depends on where you plan on trading your car in. When I took my Jeep to Carmax for a trade-in value, they did a paint scan and determined two panels were a different color and therefore it must have been in a collision and devalued it on that info alone.

Don't worry about the value so much- it won't have a huge impact. I don't remember how it works, but some insurance policies actually give you an adjustment based on possible devaluation. Be sure to look into that. Also, glad you're okay.

No, Laurie is working for some ... company. LOL, how horrible, but I think it has something to do with medical supplies? She's in their office, but that's all I know! What a horrible friend I am! No Enterprise hookups
