I didn't want to ask this on the pets board, so I was hoping you could help me. Can bully sticks be bought locally or are the healthy ones only online? We've never used them before so I don't know where to get them. Petsmart has one listed but I'm always hesitant about treats there.
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

Hi! Does Rufus like the bull peen? I'm sure he will, but you may want to buy one locally to let him try it out first.
I never buy mine in store because they are so flippin expensive! Petsmart charges $5+ per bully. Ordering online is better because you pay around $1 per bully. I'm not sure if they are any less healthy, but they are certainly less healthy on your wallet.
I order mine from Best Bully Sticks. They have great customer service and SUPER fast shipping. When I place an order I get them within 1-2 days. I've also ordered yammy chips and other treats/biscuits from them. I had a question and called their number and the lady I spoke with was one of the owners, such a nice lady. We talked for several minutes about our dogs. It's a really nice small family type business. Pets board also promotes this site.
I get the odorless ones. You can only buy them in bulk, but it's worth it. A dog that loves to chew will go through a bully in 1-2 hours. Sookie's last and last though, she likes to savor the peen.

If you decide to order from that site please put my name (let me know if you don't remember/can't find my last name) and refer-a-friend in the comments section of your order.
HTH!

Awww is his neuter today? Poor Rufus. He'll be feeling better in no time, literally in no time. You'll wish he was feeling worse so you could keep him quieter while he heals. I know this from personal experience, current personal experience.
Bully sticks will definitely last a lot longer than a kong, even a frozen one. It should take him at least 1-2 hours to get through one.

Yeah, this is what I'm worried about. The vet said by the time we get him tomorrow, we won't even notice he got fixed, but we have to keep him mellow and from licking the site (e-collar may be called for since he loves to lick the site already!). I've got my 101 dog tricks book with me at work today and I'm going to look for some tricks that don't require him to move around much so we can at least exhaust him mentally if not physically!
Your girl stayed overnight when she had it done, right?
