if its not 1 thing it's another lol
Just got our auto insurance policy renewal! Our premiums went up about $315 for the year.. which in the grand scheme of things isn't so bad but man i feel like everytime we start saving money somewhere something else pops up! Thats another $25/month towards our car insurance.. BOO ADULT LIFE!
I may shop around and see what other ins. companies are offering but we just got this policy about a year ago and it was the best rate i could find. Doesn't hurt to try i guess
such is life!
Re: if its not 1 thing it's another lol
definitely shop around, $315/year is a HUGE increase. Why did it increase? Usually it starts going down as you get older!
Did you guys have any tickets or accidents or anything? I can't imagine why they would increase your rates.
That seems like a huge increase to me. Even if you were paying $3,000 before (and I hope you're not!) that's still 10%.
Definitely shop around.

something to do with auto insurance & their medical coverage across the insurance industry...hmmm yeah? i am clueless when it comes to this stuff.
The guy explained it to me like this - what is happening now is that when you get in an accident no matter whos fault it is the medical bills will go to Allstate first and then my health insurance provider 2nd.. so i have medical coverage on my policy of up to $250K so if i get in a bad accident and the bill is $300K allstate will pay that and then my medical insurance will pay $50k. so in order to lower my premium i can sign a waiver to say that i want my health insurance to cover 1st and then allstate 2nd
I'm going to go home and talk to someone about it bc i'm lost
ROFL! i'm going to check them out next. So far, Allstate, has been the cheapest... I've been checking out other companys and we'd still be paying as much or more to switch to any of the others. So i can't complain too much
