GSO - Triad - Nice Italian Restaurant?
Anyone have recommendations for a nice Italian restaurant in the Triad. Greensboro would be preferred, but anywhere in the Triad would be okay.

The best Italian place in Greensboro is by far, by FAR this quaint little place off High Point road--I think it's called Olive Garden.
I tease, I tease. Olive Garden=
and not really italian food to me.
In terms of the best place DH and I have tried so far in GSO is Vito's. It's off Cornwallis, in between Elm and Church Street--in a shopping center with both a Harris Teeter and a Food Lion. The service is usually very friendly and knowledgeable and the food is GREAT. Dh and I have tried Anton's and Pastabilities and like both, but think that Vitos is a tad better. It is also a tad more expensive for entrees so we'll have a "special" dinner there, but they also have decently priced sandwiches and pizzas--which are a GREAT value are taste great too. Pastabilities we like for a more casual dinner--the atmosphere is a bit nosier and the place is usually more crowded--they don't have any booths--it's all table seating in one large room if can imagine it. The price point is very reasonable--but we've always thought that their portions are proportionate to their pricing--does that make sense? Like, they might offer a pasta dish for $8, but you won't bring any of it home because the portion they give you is just big enough for dinner.
DH and I love Italian food, so if I come up with any other ideas, I'll let you know. HTHs!
