So the rest of our baby furniture is coming today. We bought it at Babies R Us, but they use a seperate delivery company. So the lady was going to call me about 30 mins before they were coming. My poor husband worked last night and has to work tonight and is exhausted and waiting for these people.
We are having a bureau, a mattress, a recliner chair and a changing table delivered. They told me it was $50 each to have the bureau and changing table put together. I paid for the bureau to be put together but not the changing table because I thought that was a riduculous amount for a changing table but I heard the bureau was really complicated. So anyways the lady calls and shes like oh so you aren't having anything put together? I said no I am having the bureau put together, she said well you didn't pay for it, I said umm yes I did. So anyways turns out it's a $100 dollars to put the bureau together because of how long it takes (they said 2 hours, seriously? My poor exhausted husband) so I said they told me incorrect information at Babies R Us. Oh and it also turned out it was only 25 to have the changing table put together which I definately would have paid that. She said if we paid them 25 cash when they got there they would do the changing table, well my husband never carries cash and I only left him enough money to tip the guys.
So then she says are you having the chair put together? The people at Babies R US said it comes put together and I swear I will flip out if it doesn't come put together.
Very long story short the lady said she they would honor what I paid for putting the bureau togehther because I was told incorrect info but I am really frustrated and just needed to vent. And I am pissed that I didn't have the changing table put together.

I hate Babies R Us. It took over three months for the bed rails to come in for the conversion kit. Luckily we ordered it before we ever needed it.
I'd be livid. LIVID. She BETTER honor what you were told at the store!!
WHY do they think that telling you the correct details really matter? I don't care if the store got it wrong or if you have it right or who's to blame. SOMEONE screwed up on your end, so fix it. Make it right. That's what Customer Service is...!
I hope they come soon so Jeremy can get some sleep!! Hopefully it won't take 2 hours for the bureau to be put together - these guys hopefully do this all the time and can whip that bad boy together in no time!
So they called at 9:15 and said they would be there at 10, MH is waiting and waiting. Then they call and say 11 now. I feel sooo bad for Jeremy.
Ugh...I hate THIS part of having stuff done. Seriously, like I have time to sit around waiting for you to come between 12 and 5 pm....and I'M paying YOU.
