Select an object out in the distance. With both eyes open, cover it with your thumb. Question--do you see your thumb twice (double vision) or just once?

I'll explain in a bit--I want to see a few answers before I potentially bias your brains.

Ok, good. The reason I asked is because I'm convinced (as is DH) that I have some serious depth perception problems. When googling it, someone said to do what I asked you to do, and then close each eye one at a time to determine your dominant eye, which is the one where your thumb stays put. Then you focus on using your weaker eye to improve it. But when I tried, I saw double vision, so it doesn't seem to me like it is all that helpful in finding the dominant eye--but then I started worrying maybe other people see only one thumb. So luckily double vision is the norm and I don't need to worry about a bigger problem!

I only see 1 thumb... but my thumb definitely moves depending on which eye is closed.

I see 2 thumbs, and they move when I close one eye at a time...

I don't wear glasses or contacts, if that makes a difference.
