XP-Bare Minerals users...
I bought the starter kit (they matched my color at the store) and tried it yesterday for the first time. One thing that I noticed is that my chin and nose looked like a cross between dry, flaky skin and cakey makeup....any idea what this is from? Too much product? Wrong color? I know it says its good for dry skin and my skin isn't dry so I'm wondering why it looked that way. I used it again today and it's a little better
Re: XP-Bare Minerals users...
Do you use a good moisturizer? I find that when my skin gets a bit dry, it needs some extra mositure to give me that "flawless" look again.
Also, be sure you aren't using too much product. It can cake up unevenly and look funky if you are applying too much.
Do you have oily skin? If so, it may be good to be sure to use the mineral veil and the oil-free primer they sell. That combo has done wonders for me.
Don't worry - you'll get the hang of it! I'll never go back to regular foundation/makeup! It's awesome stuff!
