How did you know....
The debate is on in my house whether or not we are ready for baby number 2 or whether or not to even have a number 2.....I'm ready (and have been since my DS was 2) but DH is not. We've waited this long for a variety of reasons but I do not want to wait much longer. DH is content with just our lil Emma but I really want another baby.
How did you and your DH know you were ready for another one.....or decide to only have 1 if thats the case?

We already have two kids, but only one is biologically DH's. I always knew that I wanted to have two with him and a total of three kids. Daycare cost was our biggest issue. It was going to cost us $2,400 per month for two. DH would also be content with just his little boy but I wasn't. He saw how it was impacting me emotionally to consider having just one. He put it up to me to find a way to make two kids and daycare work and we could start trying then.
We refinanced our house and found someone who will care for the kids for less than $2,400 a month. Needless to say, he was excited, I was excited and now we're on the road for TTC for his #2!
