It looks like DH and I might be staying in Frankfort, Kentucky for a night on April 2nd on our drive down to North Carolina. Is anyone near there!? Is that a good place to stay or is there another city or something that might be better? We looked at London, KY, I think, but that was about 9 1/2 hours into our trip, and we aren't going to be leaving Milwaukee until like 1 p.m., so with possible Chicago traffic in the afternoon, we probably wouldn't get there until midnight or something.
Frankfort is about 7 1/2 hours into our trip, so that looks to be a better option.
If there is someone near there, I'd say maybe we could meet up for dinner or something!? But I'm not sure what time we'd get in, so I guess that may not be doable. Tiffany, I think you're in Kentucky, right? I'm not sure where you are in comparison though!
Re: Frankfort, Kentucky?
There is only one decent hotel in Frankfort and it is usually booked up- trust me on that one. Frankfort's kind of a pit. You'd be better off in Lexington. Are you going to be on I-64? If so, you could meet up with Britt in Louisville.
Yeah, you'll be in Louisville at that point where you are on 3 different interstates within 5 minutes. You should stop there and see Britt. Frankfort only gets you 45 minutes to an hour further. I vote stop over in Louisville and GTG with Brittany.
I totally vote for this too!!! Let me know what you are gonna do but I think Frankfort is trash too! lol
