Where should I stay in Vegas?
I'm finally going to Vegas!

My husband has been a bunch of times for bach. parties, but I always got left at home. I'm so excited to report I finally get to go to over the Easter weekend! Yah! So, now where do I stay? I have been considering Planet Hollywood and Aria, but I would love to know your favorites! I definitely want to stay on the strip for the full experience. TIA!

ha! we're going this weekend...we found a great deal on travelzoo with platinum hotel, I think it's relatively new, although a bit off of the strip. it's definitely worth it to stay close (if not on) the strip, best location is between tropicana ave (NYNY, MGM) and flamingo rd (bellagio, paris), IMHO.
there were some great deals listed on travelzoo, you might want to start there. oh, and tripadvisor will check a few different sites for prices.

I have stayed at the following:
Stratosphere - I went on a girls trip, and the bride wanted to stay there, I hated it, will not go back. The location is really far, the hotel is really old and raggedy. The food was really bad ,....
Monte Carlo - very nice and clean for the price, the location wasn't too bad either.
NYNY - the room we had was really small, and if you are not lucky you may get a room facing the rollo coaster which is very loud and annoying. It was a little too far on the south end of the strip. The spa isn't all that!
Planet Hollywood - The lobby, casino and clubs were really nice and well kept, the rooms are remodeled but they leave a bit to be desired, not so much attention to details, also I don't like it when the guest room towels are not white! The location is great, very easy access to everything on the strip. Didn't use the spa.
Palazzo - very pretty, we loved having a seating room, the service however wasn't so great but they just had a massive lay offs. Toiletry is really nice, when I came back I saw the same brand of soaps, ... at Saks that cost $$$. The Canyon Ranch is very nice, too, really cool rainforest showers, ...
Bellagio - This was our best stay ever, we had a really nice room, the service was great, the bathroom was huge and nice. The only draw back is you have to walk the whole casino before getting to the room elevators. The spa was nice but not as nice as the Canyon Ranch.
For the Buffet: I have been to many on the strip and Wynn and Bellagio are the top 2 IMHO.
For a really good out of this world burger you should go to BLT Burger in Mirage.
Olive has really tasty flatbread/pizzas at Bellagio.
Stratta in Wynn has really good italian food and the decor is really pretty.
have fun!! I wish we were planning a Vegas trip.

I go pretty often for work. Usually stay at Mandalay Bay which is awesome but uber expensive.
For fun, Monte Carlo was my least favorite stay. Belaggio my favorite! New York New York is great also. I really like the piano bar and the irish pub in there!
