Re: Monday Morning!

  • L got his first goose egg on his head. He
loves to crawl on the Love Sac now and went off head first before I
could get him. He looked like he was about to sprout a horn, it was
huge! Sat we watched my nephew and went to VG so I could go to Ulta.
Yesterday we attempted church and did some shopping. Had to buy new
motor for the pool pump, joy!
  • The IL's took us to dinner on Friday night. Spent the rest of the weekend relaxing, watched some Olympics, church and napped.

This week not much going on. If the weather is nice we hope to BBQ on Friday night.

  • Our weekend was really great and I'm so bummed it's Monday again.

Friday- I worked from home and Dunkin was acting up so much I almost
considered driving to work to be able to get work done. He wouldnt
stop barking at me and there never seemed to be anything he wanted so
it got old fast. Even after H got home and we took him on a very long
park trip, he still wouldnt let up on the barking and fortunately H's
friend called to see if we wanted to hang out so we booked it to their
place as fast as we could to get away hehe. It was really nice to hang
out with H's friend and his gf! We dont see them much and we all get
along so well so its nice to have friends like that. His gf even
invited me to join her bookclub so I'm excited to have more
opportunities to hang out with her.

Sat - Got to sleep in a bit, then spent all afternoon working on a
bridal shower invite. H went out to see the UFC fight and I rented
Time Travelers Wife which was meh. I also made banana nut bread for my coworkers and my dad's favorite apple pie.

Sun- Went up to my parents house to celebrate my dad's bday which was during the week but we werent able to get up there. He got so excited when he saw the apple pie which made it so worth it!

I'm so excited about this week because we're going to the taping of a
Tosh.O episode on Thursday so I hope this week goes by fast!

  • Becki: Poor guy! I had not idea what a love sac was, I used google. lol It's funny how much they love to climb now. C was having a field day on my bro staircase.

Robyn: Are you having any cravings yet? I know I was pretty far along before I started craving meat.

Noush: That dog is going to be the death of you. :/

This weekend flew by! We went out to Oceanside to visit my brother. His unit is deploying this week to Afghanistan. 3 tour since he joined (less than 4 years ago). I was thankful they gave him a notice (even if it was less than 2 weeks) so we were able to visit. C had fun sharing a box of cheezits w/him. :)

I was driving down the road the other day and saw a billboard for McDonalds cheeseburger and that ended up being dinner. But, I did make dh go to Arby's the other day so I could get their sandwich with horseradich sauce on it. I have been contemplating driving to Oak Glen to buy this horseradich cheese that Kristy and I sampled. It's just too darn far to go for just cheese!
