Anyone ever use Simply Weightloss? need to lose baby weight!

Can anyone recommend this weight loss system?  I really want to lose 30 lbs!  Can't seem to get in the exercise regimen with two kiddos.  I work out 3-4 times a week, but nothing has worked.  Also, needs to be affordable!  I am a SAHM and am already paying for the gym membership.  Any tips would be helpful, or if you have tried Simply Weightloss and liked it, let me know. Thanks!

  • You might try cross posting on the Austin Baby board. I think most of the girls there have had success with WW. And if you're not losing weight working out, keep in mind that you may need MORE calories and not less. It's strange, I know but when I did eDiets many moons ago I was suprised to find that I could only lose weight when I was getting enough calories. Good calories, but still calories!

  • I've used Sparkpeople in the past to lose weight and it's free. I'm now using what I learned from Sparkpeople to make healthy eating choices. Losing weight is really about the food for me. Working out just makes it happen faster.

  • I don't have any recommendation as far as WW or SW. You can find how much calorie you need based on you wieght and height and activity level online. Start journaling your food intake and be very honest, you will be surprised! When I did this first, I was over my daily calorie limit by 2:00 pm the first few days!! There are a lot of free resources and diet plans online.

Which gym you are a member at? Maybe finding a workout buddy would be helpful, too.

  • Well, I signed up on Sparkpeople which I was a member of before I got married, so hopefully that will help.  If nothing else it will help me be more accountable with food.  I do need to find a workout buddy!  I am a member at Lifetime South Austin, but it's just been hard getting there with the kiddos. Now that my newest is almost 4 months it should get easier.  I have called a few times and they don't have space for infants a lot of the time.  I will keep trying!  If anyone wants to be my workout buddy at Lifetime I would love it!
