Palin = Bush in a Suit - WTH?
Ok, so there are a bunch of Barackies outside my office right now. They're waving flags, holding Obama/Biden signs, etc... One woman
has a sign that says "Palin = Bush in a Suit."
Am I missing something?
Re: Palin = Bush in a Suit - WTH?
Even still... I don't see that as a bad thing. I mean, her being a woman wearing a suit would indicate achievement for a woman. Liberals like successful women, right? The negatives about Palin have nothing to do with the fact that she is a woman and nothing to do with her being successful.
I don't see her having the power Cheney has had as VP which to me has been Bush's biggest downfall.
I still don't get it. Bush wears suits.
I mean, I know she's trying to say that McCain/Palin =/= change, but what a weird way to say it.
That's true. Except for the vulgarity it's not a slam (if that's what it's supposed to be). All presidents/VPs wear suits. Now if they said Bush in a dress...
I've got it! So, a bunch of them were hanging out, having a slumber party of sorts, making signs, probably drinking. If they're anything like NYU protestors, probaby smoking pot as well...
One girl vents, 'ugh! That biotch Palin is just like Bush in a dress!'
Another says, 'omg, soooo true. You should put that as your sign.'
First girl, 'Dude, you're right. I'll totes do that.'
Third person, 'wait, the dress comment is sexist, You should say suit instead'
First girl, 'good call!'
Oh, haha, in which case my scenario is all the more hilarious.
I was going to say maybe they forgot "skirt" as in skirt suit? Or they meant dress?
MorAnic.
Just wanted to say that scenario is hilarious -- especially if the person holding the sign was 60 years old!
