Searching for a fun dress

We got our FREE photography session booked with our old wedding photographer for the 29th of April for a fun sunset shoot. I just confirmed last night that it's a complimentary shoot.

Now I'm on the hunt for the perfect dress to wear for this. I have been cruising around Victoria's Secret for some sundresses, but I feel very overwhelmed. Where do you ladies go shopping for cute sundresses?

I don't know if there is a Ross (Dress for Less) store where you are, but it's where you can get some great clothes that are reasonably priced. I think Marshall's is a comparable store.

I love J.Crew's embossed beach dresses. Our BMs wore them at the wedding, and I own 3 in different styles/colors.

J. Crew is a great idea. Not sure if these are sun dress-y enough Wink but White House Black Market has some really pretty dresses (a bit $$ though but if you can re-wear it again that's a plus Smile )

Online... www.newport-news.com and www.spiegel.com have cute things at good prices...

I agree that you could probably find something cute/cheap at TJ Maxx, Ross, or Marshall's

VS has cute stuff, but it can be expensive sometimes

Agreed that VS has some cute dresses, but I've been pretty disappointed in the quality. Check Dress Barn - I always find cute dresses there for a fraction of the price so I don't feel bad if I only wear it for a season. I've also found some cute dresses at Express.

Totally agree! I only shop there when they have mega sales and coupon codes... otherwise, it's just not worth it.

I also like Ross, Marshalls and TJ Maxx. They often have the same things as Macy's but at much better prices. And I never wear anything for that long, so that's my best bet...
